Come join our HHP discussion platform! We launched our community discussion onto a new platform, Mighty Networks, in late August 2021.
Invitation
You are welcome to join the discussion if you are a fan of the HHP/interested in our work AND:
you are an acupuncture/integrative health student or educator interested in our work
you are a prospective practitioner interested in healthcare system based practice
you are currently a hospital or healthcare system based LAc or program manager
you are a researcher looking to connect with hospital or healthcare system based LAcs and program managers
Community discussion rules of respectful discussion and dialogue apply.
Please read all the “welcome” messages and rules before you engage in discussion.
Why We Love Our New Platform
The new HHP discussion group(s) are hosted on the Mighty Networks platform.
It works similar to Facebook except:
It allows discussion threads to be tied into our more robust resources (pdf, audio, video) on our Teachable platform
It more easily ties in events and links
It is not subject to the whims and algorithm changes of Facebook. Oofda. That's been time-consuming for me (admin) to keep up with.
You don't need a Facebook or LinkedIn account to join. But, if you want to use those accounts to join, the Mighty Networks platform allows you to do that.
You create your own profile based on your interests and topics related to why you are joining the HHP discussion platform and network.
Options for joining
Two options for joining the new community discussion platform
Per community request, there are 2 tiers. Please see the community discussion landing page for the latest updates on the benefits available to each plan (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
Tier 1 General discussion platform includes
Access to the general discussion platform for all community members
Access to the First Steps resource.
Your own copy of HHP’s Summary of the Community’s Program and Research Citations
Tier 2 Big Bundle. This is the premium plan. Includes access to all of Tier 1 plus access to deep-dive resources and some discussion groups.
This tier is intended for hospital and healthcare system-based LAcs, their program managers, and their hospital sponsors (program managers, research connections)
This tier includes access to all of Tier 1 PLUS
access (via coupon codes, etc.) to much of the online HHP content on Teachable. This includes access to
the Issues in Hospital-based Practice webinar series,
the HHP professional networking group + resource bundle,
and Preparing Your Program for Medicare Coverage of Acupuncture.
More available, depending on the stage of the works-in-progress
A video tour of the HHP’s community discussion platform landing page and a review of benefits comparison of Tier 1 “General Access” vs. Tier 2 “Big Bundle Premium Plan.” I hope you find this helpful. (Video added to this post in early summer 2022.)
As of 9.7.2021, both tiers of the HHP discussion platform include a copy of HHP’s Summary of the Community’s Program and Research Citations.
This pdf is The Hospital Handbook Project (HHP)’s summary of our community’s program citations and research articles, as recommended by the community up to the date of this publication.
date of this publication 9.7.2021.
This document highlights lists of citations from the hospital and healthcare system-based acupuncturist clinician, acupuncture program, and research community.
A copy of this pdf is also available in our community discussion platform at no extra cost. We recommend you subscribe to our platform to see new links to citations the community has shared since publication and more. https://community.thehospitalhandbook.com/
